Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • Burger buns
  • Shredded carrot
  • Cucumber slices
  • Cilantro leaves
  • Red onion slices

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just incorporated.
  2. Divide the turkey mixture into four equal portions, roll into balls, and flatten into even patties.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  4. Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha. Gradually blend in warm water until smooth.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading peanut sauce on the bottom half of each bun, adding a turkey patty, extra sauce, and toppings, then closing with the bun cover.
  7. Serve immediately with extra peanut sauce on the side.
