- 4 Pork Chops
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Fresh Parsley, Chopped (for Garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare the chops.
- Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the pork chops and set aside on a plate.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over each piece.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the pork chops for a few hours before cooking and consider using different cheeses if desired.
