Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
  3. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Combine the beef and onion with frozen hash browns, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese in a mixing bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes
