Instructions
- Prepare the angel food cake: Bake following package instructions and cool completely.
- Make the cream mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk the whipped cream, marshmallow fluff, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the strawberries: Gently combine sliced strawberries into the whipped cream mixture.
- Prepare the cake: Tear the cooled angel food cake into bite-sized pieces and layer them in a serving dish.
- Layer the strawberry mixture: Spoon the strawberry cream over the cake pieces.
- Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with the strawberry cream mix.
- Chill before serving: Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Notes
For added freshness, garnish with whole strawberries or toasted almonds before serving. Can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
