- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Whip the cream in a large bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the mascarpone mixture by combining mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream gently into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee.
- Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
- Add half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and then half of the sliced strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Chill for at least four hours or overnight.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

For best results, prepare a day before serving. Customize with different fruits or add a hint of liqueur for an adult twist.
