Description

A delightful strawberry twist on the classic tiramisu, combining rich mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and fresh strawberries for an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream in a large bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the mascarpone mixture by combining mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee.
  5. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  6. Add half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and then half of the sliced strawberries.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Chill for at least four hours or overnight.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare a day before serving. Customize with different fruits or add a hint of liqueur for an adult twist.
