Ingredients

  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing mix, water, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf, approximately 8 inches long and 5 inches wide.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish, optionally lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
