- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 box Stove Top Stuffing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing mix, water, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf, approximately 8 inches long and 5 inches wide.
- Place the meatloaf in a baking dish, optionally lined with parchment paper.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix to keep the meatloaf light and airy.
