  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipped cream)
  • Berries for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together the flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well and add vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture, alternating with the whole milk.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely and use a fork to poke holes over the surface.
  8. Prepare the milk mixture by combining sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract and pour over the cooled cake.
  9. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the cake.
  10. Add fresh berries on top if desired.
  11. Serve chilled for the best experience.
